The days are full and we use each moment with intention. As such, there is not a lot of “time off” during the day. We have a limited number of hours together and we want to make the best of our time together. We do schedule down-time into the day, and we are sure to provide enough gaps in the schedule so that you won’t feel rushed. Your punctuality is very much appreciated and helps to keep us on track and moving forward at a gentle pace.
All of your meals during the 5-Days are provided. They will be healthy, organic, vegan, and prepared with intention, love, and gratitude. For those individuals with special food requirements, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please understand that we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide exactly what you need. Be sure to communicate your needs to us as soon as possible so that we can do our best to make appropriate adjustments to the menu.
Camping is available on site as part of your tuition and bathroom facilities, including showers, are provided. We ask that showers be kept to a minimum in both duration and frequency to minimize water use and to make sure there are opportunities for everyone. Space for RVs may be available on site as well; however, hook-ups are not likely to be included. If you would prefer to bring an RV or stay offsite, please contact me at AndrewCCMorrison@gmail.com at least two weeks in advance of the start date.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in for the Journey Back to Center Experience takes place the evening prior to the first day of the event. We ask all participants to arrive on site between 4:00pm and 6:00pm local time the day before the official start of the event. Please plan your travel arrangements accordingly. We encourage people to arrive with enough time to set up their camp during daylight hours, keeping in mind that registration/check-in is from 4:00-6:00pm and sunset times vary depending on the time of year and location of the event.
The Journey Back to Center Experience ends late at night on the final day of the workshop. You will want to arrange your travel home for the following day. Please plan to be off site no later than 11:00am local time on the day following the official “last day” of the event.
No meals are provided on the check-in/registration night prior to the start of the event nor on the morning of check-out after the event. Please plan accordingly.
What happens if I need to cancel my attendance?
Deposits and tuitions are not refundable. Because organizing these events is a major undertaking with a lot of moving pieces, we maintain this policy. Please refer to THIS page for our COVID-19 specific refund policy.
What happens if the workshop is cancelled?
This is something that we work hard to avoid and is rare in the overall schedule of events; however, we would offer you the following options if it were to occur:
1. Switch to another location in the current year’s schedule. You can use your tuition towards any workshop/event offered in the schedule.
2. Transfer your tuition/deposit to a location in the following year’s schedule.
3. Receive a full refund for your tuition/deposit. This is the one situation in which the non-refundable deposit does indeed become refundable.
I want to buy my airline ticket, at what point does it make sense for me to do so?
Airline tickets are less expensive, in most cases, the earlier you buy them so I understand the desire to buy early. That said, we recommend that people buy their tickets no earlier than 30 days prior to the start of the event.
