We had the great pleasure of working with Green Planet Productions (“Fuel-Change Your Fuel, Change the World” and “The Big Fix”) , a fantastic company that is totally committed to education and inspiring the world towards green via their amazing talents. They have created the concept for a show called “Extreme Green” which has been picked up by the National Geographic Channel so when they contacted us asking if we would like to be interviewed for the show’s trailer, we enthusiastically said “YES!”
We had a lot of fun filming the trailer and meeting the awesome and kind production crew which had driven up from Santa Monica. Our focus was on straw bale construction and it’s merits and we filmed it at Hummingbird Studios, which many of you know from our blog because we’ve posted about their beautiful home (which is by the way for sale) a few times.
I want to take a minute to give our thumbs up for the guys at Green Planet Productions and to encourage you all to check out what they are doing by visiting their site, and for sure, by watching their newly released documentary, “THE BIG FIX”, which uncovers one of the greatest environmental coverups in recent history – the 2010 BP oil spill. Critically acclaimed, The Big Fix was the only documentary selected by the 2011 Cannes Film Festival for an Official Selection Premiere, is Winner of the International Film and Water Festival and Winner of the Italian Environmental Film Festival.
